Chapter 2:
What makes Peter go back for Pax? What does Peter use to find his way back home? What does this tell you about the time period of the story? What might he have used if the story was written today?
The reason peter went back for Pax was because peter knew that his fox depends on him and they wouldn't survive without each other. One quote from the text is"I wasn't angry. I'm not. It's that my fox he depends on me. I'm going back to get him". This shows how both peter and Pax both depend on each other by Peter saying that Pax depends on him and by peter going to get his dog they both depend on each other. Another quote from the text is"No. I have to get him and take him home". This shows that peter loves his fox so much that even if he is getting tired and wants to go home with out his pet he is not going to. he knows that they both depends on each other. In conclusion, this shows that peter went back to get his pet because they both depend on each other.
Q#)Peter went back for Pax because he heard the wolfs howling. Q#2)Peter gets back home by memorizing a map from a book. Q#3)This happened a long time ago because Peter was using a map from a book to get back home. Q#4)If this happened today Peter would be using the navigation or map on his phone.
The reason Peter went back for Pax is because he loves him. He can't live without Pax. The way Peter finds Pax is a map and takes it with him. This period of time tells me a lot. People don't really care that small kid is wandering around by himself. If the story was written today I think the kid would use a GPS or a phone instead of a map.
1)what makes Peter go back for pax They are bond with each other makes Peter go find pax because he loves them and cares about him 2) what does peter used to find his way back home He uses the mad he found the book that is grand fathers house 3)what does this tell you about the time period of the story This shows me that the time period was probably back in the day where there weren't anycell phone or electronics 4) what my he have use if the story was written today He would probably use his phone to guide him around the forest
Peter goes back to find Pax after he heard wolfs howl in the night, he started worrying about Pax being in dangered when he heard the howling. The text says that Peter heard howling while going to sleep and worried about Pax so he went to get him later on. Peter finds his way back to his house by using a type of book that is pretty much just maps. The time period must of took place around the 1990's because Peter went with his Grampa to get back home because im pretty sure that one of them would have to have a phone to get to their destenation, but no one used an electronic device/GPS to get home. If the story was written now than back in the stor chapter one Peter and his granpa would have used a GPS device to get to Peter's house. They would have probably used better dialouge.
Peter goes back to find Pax after the wolf attack from the night of the day he got hid of Pax and he was worried that Pax might get eaten by wolves. The text said "a coyote howled then, so nearby that it made Peter jump. A second one answered , then the third." and later on in the text it said "leaving Pax hadn't been the right thing to do",Peter thought to himself. Peter goes on a expedition to find Pax, and to find his way there (and back)he used a Atlas he found on his Grandpa's book shelves . Because the story talks about using Atlases , I can infer that the story took place a long time ago, like the 1980s' of the 1990s'.If the story took place in this year (2016 or 2017) Peter would have used a GPS/radar to find Pax, or he could of put a microchip in Pax's fur and then he would know where he left Pax and wouldn't needed to struggle to find Pax in the first palce.
Peter goes back for pax because he misses him. Also he has no body or thing to talk to when he is down. Peter finds a book that him and his dad used to drop off the dog there. So he found the book to find his way back. This tells me that there was not really that many vehicles around at that time so he couldnt even take the bus or train. If the story was made today he would of took a bus or a train.
Peter goes back for pax cause after a while he notices he misses him and really love him.The way peter gets back is by using the map that he found in the book.this tells me that around that time period there was not a lot of transportation because peter was using a map to find his way back home when now a days we use a GPS if we are lost or take a bus, train,or taxi and this also tells me that they did not really have electronics because if there were electronics peter would have used his phone to find his way back home.
Peter goes back for Pax because he is worried that coyotes might attack him or scare him just like they did to the bunny. What Peter used is a map he found in his dads old room. This tells me there wasnt many electronics and it was a long time ago or maybe in the 1900. If it was this time period kids that are that age usually use phones and the apps that navigate you to places you want to go to.
Peter goes back for Pax because he saw bunnies getting scared by coyotes. He did not want the same thing to happen to Pax. Peter used a page from an atlas he found in his fathers old bedroom to find his way home. Since Peter used an atlas, this tells me that the time period of this book was around 1970-1985. If this book took place in modern time, Peter most likely would have used Google Maps or another mapping app to find his way back home.
The reason Peter went back for Pax is because he loves him. He can't live without Pax. The way Peter finds Pax is a map and takes it with him.I'm going back to get him".
Peter went back for pax in the story because because peter was really worried for pax. He also missed him. Peter uses a map. He found the map in the book that was in his dads old room. This tells me that this was from a long time ago because he was using a map. In our time we don't really use maps we use different things like a GPS you put in where you want to go and it will tell you the way to get there.
The reason peter went back is because he saw the picture of his dad and his dads dog. Peter used a map garbage bag food and flashlight. this tell me that peter missed pax so he went back to find his way back to the forest to find pax. In the meantime pax meats Vixen the female fox.
peter loves Pax. That's why he goes back for him. Peter used a map to find his way home. He could have used technology to get back home but he used a map instead. But he used a regular map. Peter would have used something digital if this story was written today.
peter goes back for pax because peter knows pax loves him and peter loves pax. the way peter finds his way back to his home is because peter brought a map with him so he can find his way to his home. peter loves pax and will always care for him even if pax is not with peter. pax keeps peter comfort and pax will always care for peter and his family. this is how peter got back and why peter went to go find him.
Peter go's back for pax because peter's best friend was pax. He really loved pax to keep him comfortable. HE found his way back by studying a map. That is how peter knew how to get out. That is why peter went back for pax and found his way back home.
Peter go's back for pax because peter's best friend was pax. He really loved pax to keep him comfortable. HE found his way back by studying a map. That is how peter knew how to get out. That is why peter went back for pax and found his way back home.
Peter go's back for pax because peter's best friend was pax. He really loved pax to keep him comfortable. HE found his way back by studying a map. That is how peter knew how to get out. That is why peter went back for pax and found his way back home.
Peter went back for pax because he herd the coyotes and he was worried. The author states" a coyote howled then,so nearby that made Peter jumped."Peter used a map to get home.If the story was written today peter would use a gps to get home.
Peter went back for pax because a coyote howled. Also peter went back for pax because peter loves pax so much. Peter use a map to find his way back home. This tells me about the period of time in the story is that the story's period of time is long ago because peter use a map to find his way back and we don't use maps anymore. If the story was written today Peter would have use his phone not a map.
i think peter went back for pax because he knows pax is scared. it said in the text that pax waited at the road for his boy. if this would have happened in todays time period, peter could have just used google maps.
I'm I think Peter goes back for pax because he knew that he would never survive in the wild because he was trained by humans. Also I think that Peter goes back for pax because he heard the wolf howl the night he was going to go to bed. Peter uses a map on the back of a book of the trail the went from their house all the way to hi grandpas house. This tells me that the time period is very old because Peter used a map. If this story was written now in this century Peter would go used a gps or google maps
Q1: Peter goes back for Pax because he loves Pax. I know this because on page 9 peter cried because he left Pax and on page 13 he thinks a lot about Pax. Peter uses an atlas to find Pax and come back home. This tells me that the time was before modern technology. Today we have cell phones with GPS tracking systems that show where you are and maps for directions.
The reason peter went back for Pax was because peter knew that his fox depends on him and they wouldn't survive without each other. One quote from the text is"I wasn't angry. I'm not.
